This week we’re talking about the return of COVID. There has been a lot of talk lately of a new variant, mask mandates, and lockdowns. We went through all of this three years ago and it seemed like we were able to put this behind us, but now it seems like it’s about to be thrust upon us again. So, if all of these things come back, how should we, as Christians, handle it?
When the pandemic began in March 2020, all of us were caught off-guard and had to react to it. What usually happens when we encounter an unexpected and particularly challenging situation, we look back later and think of how we could/should have handled it differently. With talk about COVID coming back, we have the benefit of hindsight AND a warning that it’s coming so we won’t be caught unprepared. So, seeing what we went through the first time and, as always, looking to the Scriptures for guidance, how should handle what could be coming.
