Support Plain Bible Teaching

Plain Bible Teaching

Plain Bible Teaching is an ever-growing library of Bible-based materials, with almost 1700 articles, approximately 1400 sermon outlines, over 400 podcast episodes, nearly 800 videos, and more. All of this material is available for free to anyone with internet access. This work includes sending out the Plain Bible Teaching Weekly Newsletter each Friday, featuring several pieces of content, as well as Daily Bible Notes published each weekday, and more.

If you have benefited from the material produced on Plain Bible Teaching and want to show your support for the work being done here, there are a few ways to do this that will not cost anything:

  • Subscribe to the Plain Bible Teaching Weekly Newsletter – This is the best way to stay up-to-date on everything happening with Plain Bible Teaching.
  • Follow or subscribe to Plain Bible Teaching on various social media platforms – The more people follow on these platforms, the more likely the algorithms will show the material to others. Liking and commenting on the posts (when available) also helps with visibility. You can find Plain Bible Teaching on Facebook, Twitter (X), and YouTube.
  • Share this material with others – If there is an article, video, or podcast episode that you think will be helpful to others, please share it. You can send it to someone directly or share it on your social media page.
  • Subscribe for free on Substack – Two pages are available on that platform. Plain Bible Teaching for Today is where I post articles on current events and social issues. Daily Bible Notes is where I share short articles each weekday.
  • Send me a message and let me know how Plain Bible Teaching has helped you. It is always encouraging to hear from you!
  • Last, but certainly not least, you can pray for this effort. Pray that the material being produced and shared through Plain Bible Teaching will honor God, teach truth, encourage faithfulness, and reach those who will benefit from it.

Again, these are things that can be done without costing you anything. If the material on Plain Bible Teaching has been helpful to you and you are able to do any of those things, I would be grateful.

At the same time, while all of the material on Plain Bible Teaching is available online for free, there are costs associated with this work (domain names, web hosting, email service, etc.). No church or organization operates or funds this. Since I started Plain Bible Teaching in 2005, all of these expenses have been covered by me personally. As the site and readership have grown, so have the costs, making this a somewhat significant expense in our household’s budget. However, I do not mention that to suggest that there is a chance this work could shut down. I remain committed to doing whatever it takes to continue Plain Bible Teaching, whether that means cutting other expenses, taking on additional work on the side, or making other adjustments.

However, if you would like to help offset the costs associated with operating Plain Bible Teaching, there are a couple of ways you can do that. For several reasons, I do not take online donations. However, proceeds from the following are used to cover some of these costs:

  • Become a paid subscriber to Plain Bible Teaching for Today – Free subscribers receive new articles and have access to the most recent articles online. A paid subscription gives you access to the full archives, as well as the scripts of the podcast episodes.
  • Become a paid subscriber to Daily Bible Notes – Like the option above, free subscribers receive all of the articles and have access to the most recent articles online. A paid subscription gives you access to the full archives.

I understand that not everyone is able to help in one of those ways, even if they might want to. As I mentioned earlier, Plain Bible Teaching will continue, even without any financial support, and the material on the website will remain free for anyone to access. I am deeply appreciative of all of you and the encouragement I receive from you on a regular basis. I am also thankful that this material can be used and shared by Bible students throughout the world.

Thank you!
