Plain Bible Teaching launched on August 1, 2005, so we have just completed twenty-one years and are now beginning year number twenty-two!
I consider it an incredible blessing to be able to do this work. I genuinely enjoy the work that goes into writing articles and creating other content like podcasts and videos, which is published on this website and on other platforms. However, the website analytics, social media statistics, and emails and messages I receive tell me that this work is helpful to people throughout the country and around the world. I know that all of this is only possible because of the blessings God has given, so I am thankful for this opportunity and will point to Him as the one who is worthy of praise for whatever good might be done through these efforts.
I also want to thank each of you for reading, listening, watching, following, and sharing this material. I appreciate all of the emails, messages, and face-to-face comments offering words of encouragement to me in this work. Some of you have been following Plain Bible Teaching since the beginning. Others have just recently discovered it. Regardless of where you are between those two, I am glad you are here.
The goal from the beginning has been to publish materials that can accurately be described as “plain Bible teaching,” to explain and remind others of what the word of God teaches, in order to encourage them to live in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. I’m thankful I’ve been able to do this for twenty-one years now, and I have no plans to stop.
The Future of Plain Bible Teaching
At the beginning, I was posting a few articles each month on the website. Since then, I have added several other features, including sermon outlines, a podcast, and a YouTube channel. Material from each of these categories is shared every week in the Plain Bible Teaching Weekly Newsletter. I also send out Daily Bible Notes each weekday and the Plain Bible Teaching Sermons Newsletter each Monday. Last year, I added Plain Bible Teaching for Today on Substack, where I write about current events and social issues. That was started based upon feedback from all of you.
However, I am always thinking of ways to improve the site and potential new features to add. I’m also continually looking for possible topics to cover that will be helpful to all of you. So, at this time each year, I conduct a reader survey to gather feedback from those who use the site. If you have a few minutes to complete the survey below, I would greatly appreciate it.
