This is the last episode for the month of December – time for our monthly news roundup. In this episode, we’ll be talking about the recent tornadoes in Kentucky, a baby who set the world record for the most premature infant to survive, and an increasing number of people turning to the Bible in 2021.
STORY #1 – Kentucky Death Toll from Tornadoes Increases to 77
“Kentucky’s death toll from a line of tornadoes that tore through the state has increased to 77…”
“More than 1,300 state workers and National Guard members have been mobilized to areas hit by the storms, which cut a 200-mile (322-kilometer) path through Kentucky alone. The National Weather Service recorded at least 41 tornadoes, including 16 in Tennessee and eight in Kentucky.” (AP News)

STORY #2 – Alabama Boy Sets World Record for Most Premature Infant to Survive
“Guinness World Records on Wednesday announced that an Alabama boy has set the record for the most premature baby to survive.
“Curtis Means, who is now 16 months old, was born 132 days — almost 19 weeks — premature on July 5, 2020 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). At birth, he weighed less than a pound (14.8 ounces).
“The boy had a twin who did not survive the birth, which took place when the mother was 21 weeks and one day pregnant.”
