Plain Bible Teaching Podcast

This week we’re talking about the “prosperity gospel.” According to a new study, a growing number of churchgoers believe that if they give more to the church, God will bless them more financially. The Bible does not teach this, but we need to be careful not to dismiss what the Bible teaches about prosperity when we reject the “prosperity gospel.” So we’re going to discuss that today.Continue Reading

Plain Bible Teaching Podcast

This week we’re talking about “hustle culture.” What is that? However, it does not reflect the wisdom of God or the teachings of His word. So we’re going to discuss this in our episode today.Continue Reading

We went through all of this three years ago and it seemed like we were able to put this behind us, but now it seems like it’s about to be thrust upon us again. So, if all of these things come back, how should we, as Christians, handle it?

Plain Bible Teaching Podcast

This week we’re talking about the percentage of Protestant pastors who believe there is a growing sense of fear within their churches regarding the future of the nation and the future of “Christianity.” Why is that the case? What is causing churchgoers to be fearful? Is that the appropriate response to whatever is provoking that emotional reaction, or should Christians be responding in another way? We’re going to talk about that today.Continue Reading
